Vision of the Olympiad

Much more than an exam.

Fibonacci International Mathematics Olympiad is an international mathematics platform that supports students not only in reaching the correct answer, but in asking the right questions, thinking analytically, and developing different solution methods.

"THINK DEEPER.
SOLVE SMARTER.
GO FURTHER."

The competition is organized as a system where students start at the national level, compete with international rivals, demonstrate their academic achievements at different stages, and can advance to the world final.

Fibonacci Mathematics Excellence

Our educational approach forms the foundation of the exam structure:

  • Problem Solving: Tackling complex problems with systematic and creative methods.
  • Logical Thinking: Analyzing data, discovering connections, and drawing conclusions.
  • Mathematical Creativity: Developing new solution ideas beyond conventional methods.
  • Precision: Developing accuracy, attention, and analytical approach.
  • Excellence: Demonstrating mathematical potential on an international platform.
Three-stage competition model

A mathematical journey from 50 countries to Rome.

Each stage is open to students who achieved success in the previous stage. Progression order: national/regional exams → Antalya Eurasia Olympics → Rome World Championship.

01 / Regional Qualifiers

National and Regional Exams

50 countries · Physical or online

This is the starting point of the Olympiad. Students participate in national or regional exams held in their own countries. The exam can be organized physically or online depending on the organization in the relevant country.

8 / 20 = 40 / 100 At least 8 correct out of 20 · At least 40 points out of 100
  • Each student takes the first stage exam consisting of 20 questions.
  • Students who reach 40 points with at least 8 correct answers advance to the second stage.
  • Participation certificate and achievement certificate are given based on success conditions.
NEXT STOP → ANTALYA, TURKEY
02 / International Semi-Final

Eurasia Mathematics Olympics

Antalya · Turkey

Students who passed the 40-point threshold in the first stage meet other successful students from 50 countries in Antalya.

Antalya Standard deviation evaluation Award ceremony
  • In the Eurasia stage, evaluations and calculations considering standard deviation are applied.
  • Successful students are determined based on evaluation results and announced at the award ceremony.
  • Participation certificate; achievement certificate and medal based on success status.
  • Students who succeed at this stage earn the right to participate in the Rome World Championship.
NEXT STOP → ROME, ITALY
03 / Grand Final

World Mathematics Championship

Rome · Italy

The world final is only open to students who succeeded at the Antalya Eurasia Olympics. Finalists from different countries compete one last time in Rome to demonstrate their international achievements.

Roma Final evaluation World awards
  • Standard deviation-based evaluations and calculations are also conducted at the World Championship.
  • Successful students are determined based on results and awarded.
  • Participation certificate; achievement certificate and medal based on success status.
  • Eligible finalists are evaluated for educational and exchange opportunities based on their grade level and award conditions.
WORLD FINAL → INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Evaluation principle: Standard deviation-based calculations are applied in the Antalya and Rome stages. Details regarding exact success rankings, medal distribution, Rome advancement quotas, and result announcements will be determined in the official competition regulations to be published.
Academic structure

An exam that measures mathematical thinking.

A clear and measurable success threshold in the first stage, and standard deviation calculations based on international participants' performance in subsequent stages.

First stage: clear success threshold

The first stage exam consists of 20 questions. Students who give at least 8 correct answers out of 20 and score 40 out of 100 earn the right to advance to the second stage held in Antalya.

Second and third stage: comparative evaluation

At the Antalya Eurasia Olympics and Rome World Championship, exam results are evaluated using standard deviation-based calculations.
